The 30ft artificial tree is sponsored by the generosity of the greater New Bern Community and will be located at Union Point Park. “Light up the Season” is an annual family event with Santa’s Arrival. We illuminate Bear Plaza with thousands of lights and open Santa House to kids of all ages. The seasonal block party will take place along the 200 block of Middle Street and will include holiday music, dancing and crafts for the children. Downtown We shops will stay open late so parents and grandparents can get a head start on their holiday shopping. Don’t miss this wonderful small town Christmas tradition!
Downtown shops participate in this annual event to have their self-made live window displays for visitors and residents to stroll through the historic district and view.
