The Barbecue Bun-Largest Open Sandwich-Guinness World Records Attempt Event will feature New Bern's Moore's Barbecue Restaurant Owner, Tommy Moore/Chef/Pitmaster and his Barbecue Bun Team as they will assemble the Barbecue Bun-Largest Open Sandwich at Union Point Park.
How "BIG" will this Barbecue Bun be? It's a secret until July 4th... Clue: It will be "Big enough to feed 300 people!" Be there and witness another moment in New Bern's History!
This event will be fun for all ages including children, teenagers and adults. How often do you get to witness a Guinness World Records Event? This is your opportunity! Tommy Moore/Owner of Moore's Barbecue is hosting this event as a contribution to the Town of New Bern in celebration of New Bern's 300th Anniversary! Eastern North Carolina is known for Barbecue...New Bern will be known for "The Big Barbecue Sandwich" using the Moore Family recipe, barbecue and slaw. Be there in time to be one of the 300 people to eat a Guinness World Record Sandwich!
