Craven County takes pride in hosting successful meetings! Amidst a beautiful setting
of Historic New Bern and Havelock, North Carolina, we offer first-class facilities
combined with outstanding group services. Accommodating groups from 10 to 1300,
a variety of facilities are available for conventions, meetings, trade shows, reunions,
weddings and special events.

The New Bern Riverfront Convention Center
Our Convention Center puts you at the heart of the downtown historic New Bern with
a beautiful view of the Neuse and Trent Rivers. Once inside, you’ll find a
state-of-the-art 45,000-square-foot meeting facility. The center is connected by a
beautiful river walkway to 271 overnight guest rooms, with another 600 in close
proximity.

DoubleTree by Hilton New Bern-Riverfront
The DoubleTree by Hilton New Bern-Riverfront Hotel has a full-service conference center
that can accommodate all types of meetings. It is located just steps away from the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center. The New Bern Riverfront Hotel features 171 guest rooms and flexible meeting space for groups up to 400.

Havelock Tourist & Event Center
The Havelock Tourist Center, a multipurpose meeting facility that can accommodate up to 600, features an aviation exhibit that highlights Marine Corps aviation in Eastern North Carolina. Four aircraft on loan from the United States Marine Corps and Department of the Navy will be on display, along with several static exhibits featuring local aviation “aces.” The Havelock Tourist Center Complex includes a waterfront park along Slocum Creek featuring a nature boardwalk and boat ramp.

Sudan Temple
Sudan Shriners established in 1917, and one of New Bern’s historic landmarks, is located downtown at the corner of Broad and East Front Streets overlooking the scenic Neuse River. The Shrine plays an important role in New Bern’s downtown historical charm as an alternative location for business meetings, expos, trade shows and other activities.

Inns Of New Bern
Historic Bed & Breakfast accommodations with unique meeting facilities for groups from 6-20 in the historic downtown and convenient to convention center and waterfront. Total of 6 Inns collaborating to offer 40 charming rooms for not only lodging, but quiet hospitality rooms and options for hosting small groups for formal meetings, luncheons, weddings and special event venues. Perfect for that committee meeting or board meeting, while attending a conference at the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center and/or Sheraton. Also available: Off site meeting accommodations for groups of 30-50.

The Flame Banquet Centre
The Flame Restaurant and Banquet Centre offers all the banquet services and amenities found in a large convention complex, yet in a more relaxed, intimate environment. Conveniently located at 2301 Neuse Boulevard just a short drive from historic downtown New Bern, our expansive structure boasts 9,600 square feet of beautiful event space for any occasion with seating for up to 300 guests and up to 600 for reception-styled events. The Chelsea Restaurant
Since its construction in 1912 this quaint building has been a gathering place for friends and neighbors. And it continues to be to this day. The banquet room has been updated to suit today’s trend toward more casual gatherings. The banquet facilities are unique with seating for up to 120 guests and up to 250 for standing receptions. You’ll find it to be extremely versatile, as well. The room hosts dinner theatre, live entertainment, dancing, weddings, receptions, reunions, and all types of special events, as well as business or club meetings, luncheons, casual or formal dinners. Antebellum Meadows Inn Bed & Breakfast (circa 1847)
This historic bed and breakfast offers 8 guest rooms and 2 meeting rooms for hosting groups of 6-16 people for off-site board or committee meetings during a large conference. Breakout sessions can also be arranged for conferences being held at other meeting sites. The Meadows Inn is a private facility and conveniently located 1 block from the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center, Historic Downtown New Bern and New Bern’s waterfront. Meeting rooms can be offered complimentary with lodging or priced for meetings only.

Isaac Taylor Garden
The Isaac Taylor Garden at 228 Craven Street, is a Premier Event Venue in Historic Downtown New Bern, North Carolina. A picturesque, outdoor setting capable of hosting as many as 200 guests, this .6 acre estate is tucked aside the charming Isaac Taylor House built in 1792. The vista begins with a passage through Carolinian ornate wrought iron gates into a 1910 brick patio overlooking an Opulent Garden with Southern foliage encased by brick walls. Stanly Hall Ballroom
Located upstairs at 301-B Pollock Street in Historic Downtown New Bern, the recently restored Stanly Hall Ballroom with its large dance floor, beautiful crystal chandeliers and dramatic staircase make it the perfect venue for wedding receptions, conferences, banquets, benefits or special occasions. The Stanly Hall Building was built in 1874 and the second floor was New Bern’s principle dance and assembly hall. Restoration was completed in April 2012 featuring over 3,600 square feet of Heart Pine floor, as well as a catering kitchen, and open balcony level.
