Description:
This children's theatre play, developed by Randy Sharp and the Axis Theatre Company of New York, tells of a child who strikes seven flies with a single swat and makes a belt emblazoned with "Seven in One Blow" to commemorate the event. Most people think he's killed seven people and begin asking him to perform all kinds of difficult tasks. Along the way, he learns a few invaluable lessons: An ogre finds that you don't always have to show how strong you are; a girl realizes that teasing hurts someone just like you; and a scary monster comes to understand that she may not be so scary after all. In the end, the child ultimately discovers that a parent's love and care has no limits.
